I have received a number of concerns about the assignement which I had said was going to be worth 5 percent of the grade for the course. In view of that, I have decided that it is probably not a good idea and I am going to drop the assignment as stated in class. Let’s review this point in class tomorrow (Monday 10th August.)

Homework #3

Home work #3 is due at the start of class next Tuesday.

Barnes & Noble Enters Competitive E-Book Market says Sci-Tech Today in a July 21st article.

Barnes & Noble is entering the e-book market through its launch of an online store, a partnership with e-reader maker Plastic Logic, and software for downloading books onto PCs and portable devices such as BlackBerry Relevant Products/Services smartphones, the iPhone, and the iPod touch.

The article says that the ebook market is a highly competitive market. Do you agree?

We will discuss this article in class on 22nd July.

Homework #2

Homework #2 is due at the start of class on Monday 13th July.

The Syllabus

So finally we have the syllabus page for the course. There’s also a tab for the syllabus at the top of the blog title for easy access.

I have filled in the details of the topics only for half the course. More will be added later.

Download Home work #1 (pdf) and please hand in your work at the start of class on Wednesday 1st July.
